The Farmer / Lardy Symposium Rematch

Shortly after the first Farmer/ Lardy Symposium in 2017, it was evident that a “Rematch” was needed. Both Danny and Mike agreed - there was more to be done, more to be covered and more to be taught. While making light of a “Rematch”, as if this were a prize fight between sparring opponents, the respect that Danny and Mike have for each other’s talents and training style has been and is always evident. The desire to match wits and work together with some great dog and handler teams was voiced by both of them.

Responding to those who said we need more diversity among the dogs and handlers, we brought together a wide variety of experience and training levels.

The “Rematch” site was the 2017 U.S. National Retriever Championship grounds, Parramore Fish, in Boston Georgia.

The “Rematch” did not disappoint. Both Danny Farmer and Mike Lardy, once again, provided 4 comprehensive training days. This extraordinary video series captures these two “greats” discussing training set ups, addressing issues and answering questions from both handlers and observers. These videos are a “must have” for all working retriever enthusiasts.
